Hidden fact about BACKRUB was the first name of GOOGLE                                                                      There are many interesting stories and media coverage around Google. But apparently, there are still unique facts that many people don't know about that company.Here are some interesting unique.                                                                The name Google was born because of an "accident". Google's history began with a project undertaken by Larry Page and Sergey Brin in 1996. At that time, the two graduate students at Stanford University collaborated to develop a search engine called . which was operated using a server on their campus.                                                   Larry and Sergey renamed BackRub to Googol, it was in 1997. "Googol" is one of mathematical term that means 100 zeros following  number 1. This name means to explain that Google's mission as a repository of unlimited information on the internet.   However, the investors apparently misspelled Googol's name for Google, and already wrote it down in a check. It made Brin and Page finally "stuck" using the name Google for their search engine.
